NDLEA arrest suspected 'drug lord' for Anambra state wit 548,000 tablets of Tramadol
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested one Anambra state suspected drug lord.

The NDLEA said that the arrest the suspected major illegal drug lord, Okeke Chijioke in Anambra state and they recovered 548,000 tablets of Tramadol that he brand as Takardol at his warehouse in Oyi local government area of the state.

They arrested the 44 years old man on 10th July after they received information that confirm that he stock his warehouse with fake drugs.

As they search his warehouse, they said they recovered 548,000 tablets of Tramadol that weigh 302,
They also label the drugs 100mg pain reliever on is packs, drugs law enforcement agency.

The agency for laboratory tests confirm that the drugs is 225mg drugs, they also discovered that in India they manufacture the drugs before the smuggle it to Nigeria without NAFDAC number or certification.

The drug law enforcement said they also arrested one suspected drug dealer Mohammed Ali with 1,150gg of Dizepam in Numan, Taraba state. They said they arrested his suspected supplier Godiya from where he use to supply to other parts of Numan in Jambutu park in Yola state.

They arrested another suspected dealer Emmanuel Ishiwu with different quantities of Tramadol, exol-5 and diazepam which total is 6,103kg also in Numan in Taraba state.
