Muslim faithful celebrate the end of the Ramadan fasting

Nigeria government as declared Tuesday July 20 and Wednesday July 21 as public holidays to mark this year Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

The country interior minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, that made the announcement, also congratulate Muslims for the country plus all the people that is in Nigeria plus the once that is in yonder in their occasion.

The government assure all Nigerians of their commitment to make sure that the life and property of every Nigeria is safe.

The minister has encouraged the Muslim followers to embrace the spirit of peace, love, kindness and sacrifice and to also use this period pray for the country unity.

Wetin be Eid Kabir?
Eid el Kabir that some people is call ‘big or ram sallah’ is one of the two Eids muslims celebrate.
It always happen on 10th day of Dhul Hijja which is the last month of Islamic calendar.

One of the significance of Eid Kabir for Muslims is that they will have reward for every hair that is in the body of animal that they will slaughter.

For the people that do Hajj is one of the important things as they will slaughter ram and give out to charity.
